I have the greatest sympathies for the Merlion. He must be feeling awful even though he looks quite at ease doing what it does best: Spouts water. I sympathizes with it because I feel like it. I vomited 3 times last night, a result of drinking what i should'nt on an empty stomach. I am just a lousy drinker so I guess my 1st new year resolution of the year is to avoid all alcoholic beverages! I feel like what i look below. Simply awful. Incidentally, it reminds me alot of a person. WG --- any idea who? :P

It is weird how simple words coming from different people have different effects on a person. I was chatting with a friend who told me the above words just before we ended our conversation. I was faintly surprised and touched. Indeed, fate works in weird ways and I am always thankful for all the friends that i am able to get to know thus far.

I have got a funny feeling. After meeting up with some of my old friends, I realized how much I missed them all these while that they are away. It seems like a long ago when we would all talk on the phone about anything under the sky and gossip the world away, laughing gaily at how young we were. I didn’t realize that I missed those times as much until I met up with these old friends. I have got a funny feeling. I think it is called “Reminiscing” .

Dear friends, I am back from Taiwan! It has been a good trip all in all. Mayhaps it is due to the fact that i did not held much expectations of Taiwan (dear yin was the main appeal for me to go) that i was pleasantly surprised and found that the place is quite nice afterall. I have been told by an ex-colleague and current one that people don't usually have such high praises for Taiwan. Hazel lamented that it is the company that counts after all. I believe that too.

Indeed, Taiwan struck me as a place with beautiful scenery of mountain, sea and friendly people who knows how to dress up and make themselves look good. The variety of food is endless and the streets are lined with beautiful signboard that lights up at night and do i even need to mention the innovative decor of many shops? I guessed i just summed up Taiwan in the above 2 senteneces! Well, there are interesting stuff, of course, such as the rubbish lorry that doesnt smell and plays a familar childhood tune as it goes around collecting rubbish (it woke me up one morning btw). We took many photos and oh ya! Eetat was there too and it was great having him around. We even got to met some Ex-Tanglians... what a coincidence... it really is a small world after all!
